Friends of NRA

Friends of NRA events have one goal: raising funds for the future of the shooting sports while promoting fun and fellowship. Since its inception in 1992, Friends of NRA has held more than 25,000 events and welcomed over 4.7 million attendees across the country. These efforts benefit programs of all sizes by providing training equipment, safety gear, and other resources that advance shooting sports nationwide, while also supporting the mission of the NRA Freedom Action Foundation. Every volunteer, donor, committee, business, and state has a reason they proudly call themselves a Friend of NRA.

Ring of Freedom

The NRA Ring of Freedom is a donor recognition society honoring those who have made gifts of $1,000 or more per year to benefit any NRA program. The society's mission is to gather the resources required to help preserve the uniquely American freedoms set forth by our Founding Fathers in the Second Amendment.

Institute for Legislative Action

The Institute for Legislative Action (ILA) is the lobbying arm of the NRA. Established in 1975, ILA is committed to preserving the right of all law-abiding individuals to purchase, possess and use firearms for legitimate purposes as guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.
