Institute for Legislative Action

The Institute for Legislative Action (ILA) is the lobbying arm of the NRA. Established in 1975, ILA is committed to preserving the right of all law-abiding individuals to purchase, possess and use firearms for legitimate purposes as guaranteed by the Second Amendment to the U.S. Constitution.

Volunteer at the NRA Whittington Center

Volunteer and help bring the joy of the shooting sports to more of our fellow citizens. If you would like to volunteer for a specific event or know when you are going to be in the area, submit a Volunteer Application as soon as you have the dates. If your application is accepted, we'll give you a call and let you know if we have rooms available at no charge. You'll need to provide your own transportation and meals, but we have great dining facilities available.
